These 12-ounce, #304 (18/8) stainless steel, leak-proof, insulated food jar keeps food hot or cold for hours! Pack burritos, macaroni & cheese, soup, or chili in the morning, and lunch will be steaming when you are ready to eat. Pack chicken salad, applesauce, spring rolls or fruit salad and it stays cool until lunchtime. Cool to the touch when filled with hot foods, and moisture-free when filled with cold foods.
We recommend pre-heating by pouring hot water into the food jar for a few minutes prior to adding your hot food. To pre-chill, place in the freezer a few minutes before adding your cold food.
Hand wash with mild soap and water, careful to ensue that the jar is not submerged in water. The double-walled design works so well because of a tiny hole at the bottom of the jar that releases any normal condensation that might build up between the insulated walls. Keeping that tiny hole free of water intake will help ensure that your jar does not take in excess water.
